Regatta Chiropractic and Laser Center raised $2,320 for the Junior League of the Emerald Coast

Our First Posture, Purses & Prosecco event was a HUGE success! 

Our first annual Posture, Purses and Prosecco event on March 27, 2014, successfully raised $2,320 for the Junior League of the Emerald Coast (JLEC)!

This spring preview took place at the Regatta Chiropractic and Laser Center office of Dr. Shawna Hogan located in the heart of Destin in Regatta Commons across from the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce. Over one hundred women in the community attended and enjoyed wine tastings by Deliver my Wine, hors d’oeuvres by Elephant Walk, and live music by Bo Adams. Local designer consignment boutique LuxExchange displayed an impressive array of designer handbags, wallets and jewelry that were available for purchase with a portion of proceeds benefiting Junior League.

“It was such a wonderful opportunity to sip, shop and socialize while raising money for such a wonderful cause,” stated Dr. Hogan. “My practice has a special interest in the care of expectant mothers and children, so working with the Junior League was a great way to convey that message to the local women in the area.“

The event also included complimentary chair massages with Orlando Branch, voted “Best Massage Therapist” by the readers of Destin Magazine. Ladies also enjoyed exploring a sizeable silent auction with packages valued over $1,000. Greeted with a customized wine glass of prosecco and presented with a goody bag upon departure, ladies were pleased with the outcome of the event.

“The Junior League of the Emerald Coast is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and women in our local communities through volunteering and special projects,” stated Molly Carter, JLEC’s Vice President of Communications. “We are so grateful to businesses like Regatta Chiropractic and Laser Center and LuxExchange for sharing this vision and supporting our endeavors.”

Given the success of the first annual Posture, Purses and Presecco, it is hoped that next year’s event will provide an opportunity to greatly surpass this year’s funds raised for the Junior League of the Emerald Coast. The next Posture, Purses and Prosecco event will take place spring of 2015.

What to expect at a Zerona Appointment

You can expect 40 minutes to relax, read or do absolutely nothing. The Zerona® treatment is completely painless. There is no heat or any sensation whatsoever while being treated. Each treatment you will be met by Dr. Hogan or a technician who will position the laser at the desired areas of the body, he/she will step out for 20 minutes while the front of your body is treated and then will return to reset for the backside of your body for an additional 20 minutes. After you are done you can get back to your normal activities immediately with absolutely no downtime, nor pain, swelling or any discomfort. This is a symptom –free process except for losing unwanted inches.

It is not recommended that you miss an appointment. Prior to starting the Zerona® treatment, it is important that you are committed to the recommended lifestyle protocol which includes at least 6 treatments, every other day for 40 minutes and not to exceed 72 hours between treatments. If more than 72 hours intervenes, some of the fat may be uptaken by the fat cells again.
